Music instruction is part of the regular course of study at each grade level. Students are given the opportunity to learn and progress in vocal as well as instrumental music. Students learn to play the recorder in the Junior grades and we have a wind instrument program available for students in Grades 7 and 8. Along with opportunities for experiencing and performing musically, students are instructed in music theory and its various applications.
Each year, students are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular music activities as well. These extracurricular activities include choir, concert band, worship teams, sticks, puppets, creative movement and dramatic musical productions. Through these programs, students are given the opportunity to participate, perform and develop their abilities in the areas of music and drama.
